Provides compassionate care and assistance with many daily living needs for patients. The ideal candidate will spend time interacting directly with patients, monitoring their vital signs, and assisting when necessary.
Perform maintenance duties and tasks related to the physical facility. May include grounds maintenance when requested. Conducts preventive maintenance and tasks as assigned.
Provide DOSA Assessments and DOSA Examination Reports for offenders in those counties assigned to American Behavioral via the DOC Contract. Ensures the timely completion of assessments for all assigned court ordered DOSA Assessments. Provide accurate documentation to the appropriate courts, prosecuting offices, Public Defenders and the Department of Corrections consistent with the DOSA Assessment order.

Works in partnership with the client, the behavioral health team, and substance use counselors in an effort to provide responsive, culturally sensitive, and comprehensive services to the clients. Works work with clients persistent with mental health concerns, and substance use complexity. The goal of the program is to provide responsive and comprehensive services to clients to improve their stability, wellness, and recovery. Assists in making referrals, coordinating care, education, and work with multiple systems including but not limited to jails, hospitals, vocational and housing programs, legal systems, and various medical/behavioral providers.
